Train-IT has offered successful introductory training courses based upon Visual
Basic for a number of years.
The majority of this has been in the form of training workshops for usually one
or two delegates.
This has enabled the training to remain focussed on the individual needs of the
delegates and their businesses.
With the introduction of .NET technologies, we have continued to train to the same
model.
The course outlines shown on the site are there for guidance only and we would prefer
to discuss your requirements on an individual or small group basis.
We still offer VB6 training where delegates need to modify or work with systems
already in place:
Visual Basic 6.0 Introduction
The following course deals specifically with data access and manipulation within VB6 using
ADO objects and methods:
Visual Basic 6.0 and ADO Database Programming

The outline for this course was developed with VB.NET 1.1:
Visual Basic .NET Introduction
The same course outline can also be applied to Visual Basic 2005 using VB.NET 2.0
within Visual Studio 2005.
Visual
Basic 2005 Express Edition
Visual Basic 2005 Express provides an excellent platform for introducing programming
concepts to relative beginners.
As an added bonus, many of the more difficult programming tasks are handled automatically
without the need to learn any code by using the new .NET 2.0 controls.
Designing useful applications has never been easier.

We also offer Visual Basic for Applications Training (VBA) for both Microsoft Excel and
