Microsoft Access is the database application within the Office suite.
It represents a flexible introduction to relational databases which are the most
effective way of storing business related information.
Our training explains the principles behind such databases as well as providing
practical examples as to how such databases can easily be created.
Access Introduction and
Intermediate
The one-day introduction course covers the basics required in order to enter and
retrieve information from the database.
The intermediate course explains the principles behind relational databases and
how to create a working database.
Although, these courses can be taken separately we would recommend combining them
into a two-day course.

The Advanced Access course can cover the topics on the supplied outline but is more
likely to be run as an advanced workshop specifically dealing with a company database
and the training issues arising from it.
Access Advanced
Advanced users may wish to extend their programming skill with:
Access VBA(Visual Basic for Applications)
Some Access users may already be using databases that they do not need to redesign.
However they may want to create reports in order to extract vital business information
from the database which is meaningful and presented in a professional manner.
Train-IT offer a one-day course focussing on the reporting
aspects of Access:
